Meet Your Writer
A "dedicated wordsmith" committed to bringing stories to life. Myself, born on a sharecropping farm in Cadiz, Ky., I would say, growing up was "the norm" for me. Living in a small house, doing farm work, and eventually, moving into the city limits where my life took on a new meaning!
From a bicycle paper route in jr. high to my jr. year in high school, my life, or should I say, my evenings were booked up! With the typing courses I had in Trigg County High School, perhaps, I was destined to be a writer. Shortly after my h. s. graduation, it was time for me to become a member of the U. S. Army (1966). At the height of the Viet Nam War, I became ASA. That was short for Army Security. I was basically an intell guy who monitored communist countries. After leaving the military, I write a security column for a newspaper in Hinesville, Georgia.
My first book, My Eventful Life, originally published by Crossbooks, was re-printed in 2016 by Bookmark Publishers. It is now by special order, only. ISBN 978-149618499, softcover, 188 pages. It's my life story.
My wife and I were married on New Year's Eve 1976. We live in Madison, TN.
For a period of about 20 years, I have been a courier. I transport blood samples from clinics to hospitals in Ky, TN, and Ala. And of course, I have two books in progress!
